GOD has a million and one ways of wooing you into His presence.
A gentle whisper in your heart that leads you to get up from your seat in the midst of a busy schedule to go to the pantry to get some coffee or tea could be one. While you’re stirring your hot drink you may simply close your eyes for a minute and express a word of thanksgiving that you are BLESSED to have a job makes Him smile.
Or while you are driving, sitting in the middle of traffic, you may raise one of your hands to praise Him that you are BLESSED to have a car.
Or if you are walking down the street, looking down for a second and thank Him that you are BLESSED to have two feet to go to places delights His heart.
Or if I ask you RIGHT NOW to get a pen and a paper and write down all that you can think of that you have been BLESSED with, I’m sure you’ll find out sooner or later that you have MORE to be thankful for for what you have than getting anxious for what you do not have.
And as you scribble them down, as the list goes on and on, you will experience JOY UNSPEAKABLE inside your heart that causes you to PRAISE GOD FOR WHO HE IS and WHAT HE HAS DONE!
The BEST gift one could ever give to Someone you love is your TIME! It’s never wasted when spent with your Beloved Jesus. Just as you want to dine with your girlfriend, boyfriend, husband or wife, you take time. You just don’t rush. There’s a birthing of something precious when you spend time with the one you love.
An exchange of hearts happens leading you to lovely memories that eventually become your treasures. Every time you think of those moments, it always would create a delightful smile in your face.
His Word says:
“In ALL your ways KNOW, RECOGNIZE, and ACKNOWLEDGE HIM, and HE will direct and make straight and plain your paths.” Proverbs 3:5 (Amp)
God is always WITH you, IN you and FOR you but until you acknowledge His presence you won’t be able to enjoy WHO HE IS. I used to ask the Lord this question … “People always say Christianity is NOT a religion. It’s a relationship. HOW, Lord?” He just prompted me to start with having a grateful heart.
THANKSGIVING IS ACKNOWLEDGING HIM.
“Enter with the password: THANK YOU!
Make yourselves at home, talking praise.
Thank Him. Worship Him.”
Psalm 100:4 (MSG)
