“And do not be conformed to this world, but be TRANSFORMED by the RENEWING of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:2
Quit thinking wormy thoughts about yourself and start thinking God’s thoughts towards you. Never even consider to think that you are a mistake for God only creates people according to His image and likeness therefore you are created the very way you are for His delight with a distinct purpose that only you can fulfill.
One of the enemy’s schemes is to block you from knowing who you are IN CHRIST for when you discover who you are, you become unstoppable. God called you to do the impossible not by might, nor by power but by the Spirit of God. God gave you power and authority to trample serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy that NOTHING SHALL BY ANY MEANS HURT YOU. He created you to be on top and not underneath, the head and not the tail, to be an overcomer and more than a conqueror (someone who wins all the time.) God always causes you to triumph in Christ.
“ FOR I KNOW the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
Mind the beginning the verse … “FOR I KNOW …”! When I saw that, my heart leaped, for He surely knows what He is doing. He knows the seed of greatness He has deposited in you. He knows you above and beyond you knowing yourself. He saw a VICTOR in you. He saw fearlessness in you. He saw courage and strength in you. Just as God saw a butterfly in a caterpillar, an enormous tree in a seed, an eagle in an egg or a fish in a roe, He saw a one of a kind, talented, wise and strong person in you. BUT this doesn’t happen automatically. You have a part to play to keep hearing and hearing the Word of God about Who He is and who you are IN HIM that will eventually birth such reality in you and brings about the newness on how you think about yourself.
Transformation in life only happens when you agree with who God says you are. As we keep meditating on His Word day and night and NOT HARDEN OUR HEARTS, as we keep hearing that He has good plans for us and a good future, hope (a confident expectation of good) rises within us. Then, one day you will see yourself so differently without a trace of your past exactly like you seeing a butterfly without a trace of being a caterpillar once in the past. That’s transformation!
You no longer see yourself weak but strong! No longer sick but healed! No longer broke but rich! No longer bound but free! No longer a slave but a child of God!
