Our Bread and Wine

“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.”‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭53:5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

When I think about the Cross. I didn’t think about the death of Jesus but I see salvation and eternal life for you and me.

The Cross symbolizes the victorious, and triumphant works of our Lord. Without it (the Cross) we won’t be able to come fully to the throne of the Lord.

Jesus died, bruised, beaten down and mocked so today we may live the fullness of life. He died not because He wants it but He did so life will be upon us today.

There is a strong revelation in and on the cross that the enemy has been hiding it for us for many many years. The revelation there is Jesus carried it all, as in all! So today, we can move and walk freely!! Free from sickness, free from bondage, free from oppression and free of guilt and shame.

He died so we can have life – life in full, life in abundance!

He took our shame so today we can boast in the Lord!

He cried so we don’t weep today.

He became sin so we are dead to sin.

He took sickness so we can be free from sickness today.

Whenever we partake of the communion, we are declaring His victory at the cross and whenever we eat the bread that symbolizes His wounded and beaten body and the wine/juice that symbolizes His shee Blood on the Cross – we are declaring ” I AM A CONQUEROR!” And we are claiming SHALOM – nothing missing and nothing broken in every area of our lives.

Oh, thank you Jesus for your victory at the Cross. Thank you for the gift of life and eternal salvation. With Your finished work at the cross. We know that the enemy is under our feet. Truly, You are the finisher of our faith. The beginning and the end. The alpha and the omega.

Thank you Jesus!!
