When Salvation Comes

When Jesus zeroed right in on the short man up on a sycamore tree, Zacchaeus, a tax collector, despised by the crowd and tagged as a sinner, people complained saying, “Has He gone to be a guest with a man who is a sinner?” (Luke 19:7)
Many must have thought against what Jesus was doing but the one HE called BY NAME, Zacchaeus, “RECEIVED HIM JOYFULLY”! (Luke 19:6)
When the grace of God comes in contact with the disgraced, who can resist? When Jesus touches your heart, who can stay the same? When mercy is offered, your stony heart becomes a heart of flesh (moldable). A sinner could not make Jesus impure. Instead, He would purify the sinner.
Zacchaeus’ response was … “Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold.” (Luke 19:8)
When salvation comes, transformation begins. You can NEVER stay the same way. Jesus said, “BEHOLD, I will make all things new.” (Revelation 21:5)
Never lose hope! Call upon the Name of the Lord and be saved! Jesus is the HOPE of GLORY!
