Turn Away From Actions That Are Manipulative and Destructive

Psalm 34:12-14 “Does anyone want to live a life that is long and prosperous? Then keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies. Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace and work to maintain it.”

If you want a life lived in health and prosperity, the bible says, it’s about how you choose to live. Watch the words you speak: do not speak words that destroy and are deceptive. Turn away from actions that are manipulative and destructive. Chase after that which brings peace, harmony in your relationship with God and with others.
Work to maintain it means it requires some effort. It’s something you pursue. Bring your issues before God and ask Him for the wisdom in dealing with them. It’s not always easy but peace is always worth the effort: prosperous in health, in good relationships, in finances, and in your soul.
