Luke 9:12,13 “Late in the afternoon the 12 disciples came to Him and said, Send the crowds away to the nearby villages and farms, so they can find food and lodging for the night. There is nothing to eat here in this remote place. But Jesus said, You feed them.”
It was getting late. The crowd had been listening to Jesus speak all day. They were hungry and tired; and that describes the world around us: it’s dark around and people are tired with the stresses of life and hungry for answers. The disciples told Jesus to send them away but instead He said to them, YOU feed them. They only had 5 loaves and 2 fish among them but it was enough to feed the crowd.
When people around us are searching for answers, all we have to remember is that The One Who knows all things lives inside us. The One Who created life, we carry around with us. We have The Answer to life’s questions when we tap into The Source of Life. We can bring light into the darkness, food to the hungry, health to the sick, and abundance where there is little.
Don’t forget who you are, you are a child of The Most High. You are a light-bearer. You bring good news with you.
