Christian Maturity Defined

It’s normal for a child to be self-absorbed, self-centered, self-defined, and yes, selfish. But as they mature, they need to learn to give, to share, to out others before self, to learn altruism based on Christian faith. The sooner we learn that life isn’t about “me” and doesn’t revolve around “me”, the sooner you will not take things personally and experience the freedom and joy in rejoicing with those who rejoice and weeping with those who weep. But this can happen when your eyes are set on Jesus and realize your value as a person is rooted in Him alone.
My prayer for you is that you may know Him deeply and intimately; that you will find joy in his love and will; and that you will live your life in such as way as to reflect the love, righteousness, and peace of God’s kingdom to the people around you. Be blessed and a blessing this 2017.
