How many of you experienced being chased by someone who is eager to pursue you because that person is willing to win you or so much affection towards you and that that person wants to be with you all the time? That’s a great feeling isn’t it?
Well, that’s what God is! He doesn’t want us to chase Him but He chases us!
When you look at John 3:16 then it says “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son…”
You see how God loved us so much that even His own son was given to us, freely, no holds bar and without a second thought. That Love is unmatched, unfathomable and unconditional and yet He still gave.
When God gave His son, it didn’t end there but all these years. He keeps chasing us. He wants us. He wants to fellowship with us. He longs for us.
Jesus didn’t come for the good ones, He came for the sinners…for the lost ones…for the deppressed..to the oppresed…to the sick and to the battered. He wants restoration for you. He wants to heal you. He wants to comfort you. He wants to save you. He wants to see you successful in all that you do. He wants to see you smiling all the time. He wants to hug you when no one wants to hug you. He wants to see you whole and healthy. He wants to renew your mind. He wants His will be done upon your life. That’s how Jesus wants your fellowship.
From 2 thousand years ago until today, He is still the God who cares for you. The God who loves you and died for you to have an eternal life. He chases after us. He longs for your prayer. He wants you to praise Him. He wants you to worship Him. He wants to be with you. He wants to inhabits your prayers. Pray to Him. Pray without ceasing. He wants His presence to go with you day in and day out. Just keep praying. Just keep praising. Just keep worshipping. Pray. Pray. Pray.
Abba Father, I am thankful that no matter bad have I done. You still chase me. You run after me. You still long for me. No matter how many times I felt bad, missed the mark you still accept me as I am, without any pre-judgment without any doubts. You still love me. Thank you that you always look at me as if I have never sinned. After all these years, I am still amazed on how good You are and how faithful You have been to me. Jesus thank you for what you’ve done. I welcome you into my life. Be my Lord and be my savior. I believe that You died for me for my sins so I can be made whole and will live eternally. Wash me with Your blood, make me new and make my name listed in the book of life. Amen.
