Exodus 3:13,14 “But Moses protested, ‘If I go to the people of Israel and tell them, The God of your ancestors has sent me to you, they will ask me, What is His Name? Then what should I tell them?’ God replied to Moses, ‘I Am Who I Am.’ Say this to the people of Israel: I Am has sent me to you.’
The Israelites only knew Him as the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Now, He was introducing Himself in a personal way. When He said “I Am Who I Am” He was saying, “I Am Who you need Me to be”…
When you need provision, “I Am Provision”. When you need wisdom, “I Am Wisdom”. When you need healing, “I Am your Healer”. When you are in trouble, “I Am your Savior”. When you need peace, “I Am Peace”. WHATEVER it is you need, He is saying, “I Am your Sufficiency”. He is your “All in All”.
There is no need you have that He cannot fill. He is The One Who holds you close and hides you under His wing so that you can feel safe and protected. You are His child. He is your Daddy God.
“My Dear Abba, how wonderful it is that You hold me close to Your heart, loving me, caring for me! How You continue to love me and Your faithfulness to me is beyond my comprehension, because I have failed You countless times. But You’re always there never giving up on me. You are always good to me. I will always be grateful to You. And by Your grace at work in me, I will live to glorify You, all of my days. In Jesus’ Name, amen.”
