John 8:12 “Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, ‘I am the light of the world. If you follow Me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.'”
Walking in darkness is a metaphor for not knowing what to do. Jesus said “I Am the Light of Life”. When you have Jesus, you won’t have to be left wondering what to do because when you ask Him, He will answer. It is God’s will for His children to walk in knowledge, understanding and wisdom. And just like light is always more powerful than darkness, even light from a single candle can make a difference in a dark room, the light He brings can overcome any confusion you may face.
“Abba, I thank You for giving me wisdom and understanding. I thank You that when I need guidance, You are always there showing me what I should do, where I should go, who I should speak with, giving me instructions so that my life can be lived right before you. In Jesus’ Name, I pray.”
