You Are Blameless

1 Thessalonians 5:23,24 “Now may the God of Peace make you holy in every way, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. God will make this happen, for He Who calls you is faithful.”

The apostle Paul was ending his letter with a declaration of what God would do. He referred to God as the God of Peace. The One Who makes complete in every part of you, the One Who does the work of cleansing and purifying. He is the God Who is committed to completing His work in you for as long as you are alive until the day you face Him in glory. It removes the burden of trying, what it does is makes you rely on Him and His grace at work in you. So when you look at yourself and see your flaws, see yourself through His eyes. You are a work in progress. You are in the hands of the One committed to making your life a wonderful work of art!

“Abba, I may not always understand what You are doing in my life, but because I know that You look at my life from a higher perspective and that You love me, I trust that You know what You are doing and You always do what is best. Let my life glorify You in every way even as I surrender to Your will. In Jesus’ Name I pray, amen.”
