I Can Never Escape From Your Spirit

Psalm 139:7-10 “I can never escape from Your Spirit! I can never get away from Your Presence! If I go up to heaven, You are there; if I go down to the grave, You are there. If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, even there Your hand will guide me, and Your strength will support me.”

There was a man who was seated on the toilet and God started talking to him. He said, “Lord, can’t You leave me even for a few minutes alone?” The Lord replied, “if I leave you even for a second, you will be in danger.” Where in any galaxy can you hide from the Presence of God? There is no place that exists. God is just so gargantuan, we cannot get away from Him! Riding on the wings of the morning is a metaphor for a moving as quickly as light, meaning you can’t even move fast enough to get away because whichever way you turn or go to, He is already there! So wether you want to hide from Him because of sin, or you think God may be rejecting you because of self-condemnation, you are always within His sight and never out of reach. He never wants to leave you without His guidance or His support, because if you are left to your own wisdom or own strength, you won’t go far and you will fail. You were not created to live outside of His Presence nor depending on your self effort to navigate this world. Living your life dependent on Him is not weakness, it is humility.

“Thank You Abba that You are always there ready with a helping hand, guiding and strengthening me by Your Spirit. Give me a revelation of how deep Your love is for me that I may always be aware of Your Presence wherever I am and whatever I may be doing. In Jesus’ Name I pray, amen.”
