Psalm 56:8 “You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in Your bottle. You have recorded each one in Your book.”
When your hearts has been broken, when situations occurred that caused you pain and sorrow, people misjudged you, spoke ill of you, treated you poorly, brushed you off, lied to you, bullied you, took advantage of you, rejected you, whatever the reasons are, this is what the Word says: God keeps track of them, records them in a book and collects your tears. Why does He do that? So that you can bring the hurt before God and leave them there. If you’re innocent, let Him be the One to deal with the offenders. If you’re the one who did the wrong, ask Him for the grace to make it right and then make it right. He sees everything, and He knows how to discipline you or make it up to you (depending on the category you call under). His goodness cannot be taken for granted neither should His discipline be glossed over. He is Daddy-God and both sides of Him are important.
“I surrender my heart to You Abba, You know all I’ve been through. You are training me for what’s important- Your character seen in me, Jesus reflected in me. Wash the hurts away with Your Blood that cleanses. And guide me with Your wisdom so my life is lived right. In Jesus’Name I pray, amen.”
