God Speaks With Authority

Isaiah 55: 11 “It is the same with My Word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.”

God is assuring us of His integrity and the power in the words He speaks. When He speaks, He speaks with authority. He does not play with His words by giving a promise then later say “I changed My mind” or “I was just joking”. He speaks with power because He believes the words He says. So when we want to rule with Christ in this world, we have to practice believing the words we say by practicing saying only what we mean. He wants us to be His mouthpiece in the earth so when someone asks for prayer and we say “be healed in Jesus Name” there is power released when we speak In His Name.

God said that when He speaks it always produces results, so speak His Word. Get familiar with the mind of God about the situations you face so you can speak with His authority. And the only way to get familiar with Him is the same way you get familiar with anybody else: spend time with them. Ask Him to open your heart so you can hear His voice, see His ways. And the more you know Him, the easier it becomes to trust Him. The more you trust Him, the more you will see His goodness and graciousness manifest in your life.

“Abba, I need Your grace to want to spend more time with You so that I can know You more. Reveal Yourself to me so that I will discover how good and kind and loving You are. Destroy every lie the enemy has placed in my mind about You. I want to trust You the way You deserve to be trusted and so that I will reflect You in my life. In Jesus’ Name I pray, amen.”
