The way Jesus is building His church is Him being the cornerstone (the beginning) and the capstone (the end). We are the livingstones that makes up the church that He is building. This is which why it is important to recognize, honor and esteem the building of God. This is also the reason why we do not discount the other parts of the Body of Christ. We do not attack the members of the Body, because when we do , we become the reason for the body to suffer. In the natural, this is like the body suffering from auto immune disease where the body’s immune system attacks its healthy tissue. It can affect the skin, joints, kidneys, brain, and other organs. Attacking the Body of Christ where you are a part of can cause the body to fail and to be sick. We don’t want that. We want to be a source of encouragement, and strength to our fellow livingstones. We do not celebrate when one part of the Body gets removed. That is not how Christ wants us to treat each other.
Christ has the say in the way He wants the Body built. When someone gets assigned to a position or moved to a different place and you feel it was not right, trust the Lord. It His church. He will build it the way He wants it built. And whatever seems not right or unfit, submit it in prayer. He will handle it.
So, we the livingstones ought to guard our hearts as we serve, not complaining, not comparing. Just giving our best, for we are lived deeply and for we have been given the privilege of serving.
