The Resurrected One

Isaiah 53:11 “When He sees all that is accomplished by His anguish, He will be satisfied. And because of His experience, My righteous Servant will make it possible for many to be counted righteous.”

As Jesus was going through all the pain in His body and anguish in His soul, He kept one thing in His mind: what it was going to accomplish for you! He allowed Himself to be placed in the hands of people who were possessed with anger and hatred because all the sins of mankind would be placed on Him to be judged. His heart broke with the curses and rejection thrown at Him, but more so because He knew the soldiers were not really in control. They were being used by demons determined to destroy Him. Except that He knew this was all part of the Father’s plan – man had to be redeemed; and this was the only way. He became the sacrificial offering… what other religion is there where God Himself came down and offered Himself as a sacrifice for the wrongs done? Any and every other religion required sacrifices to be made so that a god would be satisfied, so that it’s anger won’t be poured out on men. It is ONLY the One True God Who came to prove His love for man, to bring restoration to His relationship with man, and for man to enjoy the benefits of that relationship. He did it all with YOU in His mind because He thought you were worth the pain He suffered. And you know what’s the best thing about it all? He came out the winner! He overcame every curse, including death. And now, we have the opportunity to overcome as well. In Christ, we are overcomers!

“Abba, I many not understand it all, I may not understand why You went through so much just for me, or why You even thought I’m worth it after all the times I failed You. But You did. You gave me another chance by Your Holy Spirit, to change me and make me different. You made a plan for my life and gave me purpose. I surrender to Your plan, to Your will, not of my own strength, but by Your resurrection power, in Jesus’ most precious Name, amen!”
Happy Resurrection Sunday!
