Ephesians 3:19 “To know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”
Did you ever wonder what it was like to be like Jesus when He lived as a man on earth? To be living with such an intimacy with The Father and Holy Spirit, constantly in communion with them, having such wisdom and power flowing through you and with such a confidence of knowing to do the right thing at the right time?
The key is right here in this verse: “to be filled with all the fullness of God”.
As you become more strengthened in your inner man, more emotionally and psychologically whole, and as you become more rooted and grounded in the love of God, experiencing the love of Christ – living in it, soaking in it, letting it become your motivation in everything you do – His glory fills you more and more. That is becoming filled with all the fullness of God!
In the meantime, while we’re on our journey towards that, allow Him to fill you with His glory so that your soul gets strengthened by His Spirit. It’s ok to stumble and fall, just wash yourself in His Blood, let His resurrection power fill you and move on. After all, it’s not about how many times you fall, it’s about getting back up! He’s always there waiting to fill you with His Strength again.
“Abba, I want to be filled with all of Your fullness. Forgive me for the times I have fallen, for the times I have sinned against You. Wash me in Your Blood. Let Your Resurrection power flow into every part of my soul. Let my inner man be strengthened and filled with Your glory so that I can be Your extension on earth, filled with Your love so I can touch others with it. By Your grace at work in me, in Jesus’ Name, amen.”
