Jesus Came To Help

John 3:17 “God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending His Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help; to put the world right again.”

Abba’s heart was longing to be reconciled with man again. He had such a great desire to show man how much He loved him, and because of that, He put His plan into motion when He sent His Son, Jesus, to be born on earth as a human being, and to go through everything He did – get whipped until His back was raw flesh, have a crown of thorns placed on His head, have enormous nails hammered into His hands and feet, suffer asphyxiation and thirst, get rejected, spat on and cursed at – all because He craved for man to be restored in a love relationship with Him again. Yet some people have chosen to believe the lie of the enemy that God wants man to suffer judgment and be condemned because of sin.

After suffering so much to bring restoration, why will He want to do that? It breaks His heart when men choose to turn away from salvation offered to him because He knows judgment and more suffering awaits them. Jesus came to help man. He paid the price of redemption so man’s relationship with God can be made right again. When you fall in sin, don’t turn away from The One Who can save you. Ask Him for forgiveness, plead the Blood and make it right. If you’re struggling, there is grace available for you, to change you, to strengthen and empower you to live the life He planned for you.

“I come to You Abba, in response to Your call. Thank You for saving me, for Your grace that continually is at work in me. Than You for Your Blood that washes me clean so I can stand before You Holy and righteous. You made it all possible because of Jesus, Who loves me and gave His life for me. I surrender my heart to You, to Your will and to Your plan. Let my life reflect and glorify You all my days. In Jesus’ Name, amen.”
