Made Righteous With God

Romans 5:8 “So, now that we have been made righteous by His blood, we can be even more certain that we will be saved from God’s wrath through Him.”

‭‭

Just how powerful is the Blood of Jesus in making me righteous before a holy God? It begins with erasing all of my sins; and because I stand before Him as one who never sinned, His wrath is removed from me! My past declares the effectiveness of the Blood of Jesus. If you visit my past apart from the Blood of Jesus, it’s a lie, because it no longer exists. My present declares the love and affection of God in my life. My future is drawing me on a hope-filled life that says I have purpose of partnering with God in letting His will be done on earth as it is in heaven: that broken people get mended, the addicted get free, those who need forgiveness get forgiven, the sick get healed – that the will of God get demonstrated through me as it did while Jesus was on earth.
His Blood cleansed me and now I can be His extension on earth! I have been set apart for His glory and to enjoy fellowship with Him! I can enjoy the benefits of heaven while I’m here on earth, so that His kingdom expands, His dominion extends.
“The Blood of Jesus was shed for me! How wonderful that because of that I am a part of Your family, I can call You Abba! All my sins are in the sea of forgetfulness and I am righteous before You! I can go before You boldly and make my requests known! All because of the Blood of Jesus! Thank You for everything You have done for me and for all the goodness You will continue to pour out into my life! In Jesus’ Name, amen!”
