2 Timothy 3:16,17 “All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.”
All of scripture is God-breathed, that means that even though it was written by man, the words were given by God and man was just used to put the words to paper. In other words, the thoughts came from God. It is advantageous for us to study His Word so we can first, live by it, then teach others, let others know what God’s thoughts are since so many have wrong ideas about God and His ways. When we have wrong ideas about God, it affects the way we live, we become insecure. When our thoughts are not aligned with His, we think, feel, and act wrong. God wants us to know Him so we can live lives of integrity, lives that stand out from the rest of the world, lives that are pure and bring Him glory because His Word trained us. That also means hearts that are motivated by love and compassion, not legalistic or condemning. People motivated by love, trained to think, feel and act like God are the ones equipped to reflect God, in a way that draws others to Him, that by looking at you, they will say: I want to have a relationship with your God too!
“Abba, I ask that Your Holy Spirit open my eyes to revelation as I read Your Word. Let Your Word transform me so that through my life, I can bring transformation to the world around me. Let my life represent You properly to those I come across. In Jesus’ Name, amen.”
