1 John 4:12 “No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.”
The world hasn’t seen God, neither has any one else; because the world was meant to see God through His body. The world sees God when we manifest His love because God is love.
Love is perfected when you sit in communion with with the Father. When you are constantly aware that you are abiding in Him and He in you, aware that you are constantly connected to Him, always aware that He is with you. It is perfected with those who misunderstand you, with those who are mean to you. That’s where we practice love. Your reaction becomes your gauge on how real God’s love has become to you. We should judge ourselves in our reactions without condemnation, because in your heart you are looking to be made perfect in His love. The more reactive you are, the more His love needs to fill you, to heal you, the more you need to soak in His Presence. And one day, you will notice you will begin to respond more with God’s love, less with irritation or criticism or anger. It is a supernatural work, and it is by His grace.
“Abba, I want to be so consumed with Your love, that it becomes what pours out of me without even having to think about it. Thank You that it is You Who began this work, You will also complete it as my mind becomes renewed by Your Word. Let Your will be done in my life. Let heaven manifest through me. In Jesus’ Name, amen.”
