Colossians 2:11 “In this new life, it doesn’t matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave or free. Christ is all that matters, and He lives in all of us.”
Whatever outer circumstances you may find yourself in, the only thing that really matters is that Christ lives in your heart and that He is your Lord. Because when you truly have embraced the Lordship of Jesus Christ, what you think or feel is only secondary to what He thinks or feels. If what you’re thinking is contrary to what He thinks, you are willing to put your ideas down and replace them with His. It doesn’t mean that you become a robot, it just means that you realize that He knows better because He sees everything from a higher perspective. You know that He loves you and wants the best for you.
“Abba, I know I don’t know everything, but You do. You see all from beginning to end. You even know the desires of my heart more than I do. Help me to continually live a life surrendered to Your will by the power of Your Holy Spirit in me; and I can live full of Your joy and peace because You are all that matters. In Jesus’ Name, amen.”
