1 Corinthians 3:19 “For the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God. As the Scriptures say, ‘He traps the wise in the snare of their own cleverness.'”
There are some people who get caught in their own natural intelligence, they actually think they’re smarter than God. They may make statements like “if I were God…” or “if God were good/smart/knew better, He wouldn’t/would …” not realizing that they only see from their limited perspective; and they become proud in their hearts. The wise are those who know they don’t know everything, are open to learn, keep their spirit open to hear from God.
“Abba, I know I don’t know everything, You do. And all I have to do is keep myself connected to the Source of all intelligence and wisdom. I trust You to guide me and show me what I need to know. Help me to hear Your voice clearly and to have a heart that always submits to Your will. In Jesus’ Name, amen.”
