Less of me, More of Him

2 Corinthians 4:10 “Through suffering, our bodies continue to share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies.”

It is when we suffer that we learn to lean on God the most. We realize that on our own we are weak; so we rely on Him and the power of His Holy Spirit to get us through our trial. So we share in the death of Jesus – a dying to our self, seeing our frailty – and alive to His life that lives within us. The more aware we become of Him, the less we rely on our own efforts and our own human strength to live and overcome. We realize only too well, that relying on Him on a daily basis, staying connected to the Vine, is the key to living His resurrected life in our bodies.

“Abba, You are my strength. You are my hope. You are my life. I trust In You and Your Holy Spirit to live a life that glorifies You, in Jesus Name, amen.”
