Abraham’s Blessings

Romans 4:18, 19 “When everything was hopeless, Abraham believed anyway, deciding to live not on the basis of what he saw he couldn’t do but on what God said he would do. And so he was made father of a multitude of peoples. God himself said to him, “You’re going to have a big family, Abraham! And not being weak in faith he did not consider his own body already dead since he was about a hundred years old and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.”

One of the blessings we have as beneficiaries of the New Covenant is that His grace flows into our lives in unlimited portions. In the areas where we are weak, we can trust God’s grace to flow in that area when we ask Him to! When we face seemingly impossible challenges, we can trust His grace to get us through! It’s not about being perfect, or having it all together or being so skilled, it’s about God’s ability working in us and through us!

“Thank You Abba, that it’s not about me. It’s about what Jesus has done for me and Your power at work in me. Help me keep my eyes on You. In Jesus’ Name, amen.”

  1. Amen, indeed it is about Christ and the strength we receive in Him, for the word of God says, “if the same spirit that rose Christ from the dead, lives in you, then He will quicken your mortal bodies”. Truly God is the one who gives us strength.
