Romans 11:22 “Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off.”
We re so blessed that we have an amazingly awesome good God. He is patient, kind, forgiving and merciful. But even though He is good, we have to remember that we cannot take His goodness for granted. He does not have spoiled children who are self- centred and lazy. Having character is a priority with Him. He understands your struggles, so He does not expect you to live the Christian life on your own determination and will. It starts with a decision, then it goes on with you relying on Him to give you the power to stay in that decision. Struggling is not a bad thing. It just means you need to rely on Him more. When you fall, get Him involved in your struggle. Surrender your self to Him and expect Him to move in your behalf.
“Help me Abba, in the areas I am weak. I put myself in Your hands to empower me to live according toYour will, by Your Grace. I pray in Jesus’ Name, amen.”
