Job 19:25,26 “For I know that my Redeemer lives, and He shall stand at last on the earth. And after my skin is destroyed, this I know that in my flesh I shall see God .”
After Job had lost everything- all his wealth, all his possessions, all his children, and his body filled with painful boils and sores – he still chose to worship God! His heart was filled with anguish and despair yet, he did not blame nor accuse God for any of it. When a heart is so filled with the love of God, it endures through so much.
And at the end of it, God gives the ability to see things that were hidden. Job’s eyes got a peek to see the reality of Jesus Christ. Job saw Him as his redeemer even though He wasn’t born on earth as a man yet. That was a gift of revelation from God to him.
“Abba, may my heart seek after You always, no matter the circumstance; so that my life may reflect You and Your glory, in Jesus’ Name, amen.”
