Oh, Holy Spirit, Guide Me

Luke 4:1,2,14 “Then Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan River. He was led by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness, where He was tempted by the devil for 40 days…Then Jesus returned to Galilee, filled with the Holy Spirit’s power. Reports about Him spread quickly through the whole region.”

In life, there are numerous times we face conflict, challenges and trials. And then we wonder why? Sometimes it’s obvious, especially when we know we did wrong. But when we know we’ve been doing what’s right and things still go wrong, we question about justice, or ask where is God in all these? Here is one of the answers you may have needed to hear. Sometimes we face conflict so that what is inside you can surface. Just like Jesus, Who was led of the Holy Spirit into wilderness. He was led there to face conflict, to enter into a time of testing. And because He passed it, power was released, and He became effective in ministry. It was a necessary test to step into another level. Are you in a time of testing? Ask God for the reason He allowed it, for pruning or for promotion? Either way, they’re both for your good!

“Abba, show me what I must see. Let Your Holy Spirit guide me at this time so I flow with what You want to accomplish in my life. I trustYour goodness to be seen, that Jesus may be glorified in me, amen.”
