John 6:18-20 “Soon a gale swept down upon them, and the sea grew very rough. They had rowed 3 or 4 miles when suddenly they saw Jesus walking on the water toward the boat. They were terrified, but He called out to them, Don’t be afraid. I am here.”
You might be facing a storm, or you might be facing uncharted waters, either way, you’re anxious or afraid; this is God’s Word to you: don’t be afraid. I am here. When you know that you’re not alone, and that the One Who is with you has the power to do something about your situation, will you still be afraid? The “I Am” is with you! The One Who holds all things, all situations, all people, in His hand… you face them with Him! Be at peace. Let your heart rest in Him. Be open to hear His instruction, and He will guide you where to go, what to do, who to see, what to say. Your life is in His hand!
“I trust You, Abba. Even if I may not yet know what to do at this point, You do. And You will guide my steps as I surrender my will to Yours. Because I am not alone, I know that all is well. In Jesus’ Name, amen.”
